  • Press and hold the reset button for 10-15 seconds with a sharp pin or a toothpick.
  • You need to make sure that the power is on for the extender. When the light starts blinking, release the reset button.
  • After 2 minutes your TP-Link extender will restore back to factory default settings.

Method 2: Reset by using the dashboard

  • First of all, you need to open the web browser and then type tplinkrepeater.net in the address bar of your web browser and then press the enter key.

  • Then, you need to click on the factory reset button to start the reset process.
